My name is Alexy Smith and I am the owner of The Salty Sip Boutique. It has always been my goal to open my own clothing business, so I choosing to pursue it.

The significance behind The Salty Sip Boutique. Salt: Jesus calls us to live up to that standard after first defining who we are. We are to live out by faith what He has made us into because in Him we are salt and light (Matt. 5:13–16). We are the salt of the earth, according to Jesus. God is telling us to be Godly influences, not worldly influencers, which is why this stood out to me. I aim to have a sassy effect by utilizing my passion for clothes and style. Given that we are from Mississippi, my mother assisted me in choosing the name "sip".
